Asset Issuance and Redemption: Rocket allows asset issuers to issue assets in batches on the main Bitcoin network and destroy them at any time, enabling flexible management of asset supply while ensuring that the public has access to the most up-to-date asset information.

Asynchronous Receiving: Rocket supports asynchronous receiving, which allows assets to be sent and received even if both parties to a transaction are not online at the same time. Associated with a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), the recipient's wallet can automatically synchronize and process newly received assets in the background.

Multi-Universe Model: Rocket utilizes a multi-universe model in which participants involved in the transfer of assets can verify and store information about the assets. This information is stored in the issuer's local data store, or repository of information called "Universes", so that even if the issuer's servers go down, the legitimacy of the assets can still be verified by other Universes.

Atomic Swaps: The Rocket protocol also allows for atomic swaps between assets and Bitcoins, handling unique and non-unique assets and collections. This means that users can directly exchange between different assets without involving a third party, enabling the efficient movement and transfer of assets.

Lightning Network Support: Rocket Protocol assets can be deposited into the Lightning Network's payment channel and transferred over the existing Lightning Network. The Lightning Network, as a second-layer solution for Bitcoin, is high-speed, scalable, and low-fee, making the transfer of Rocket's assets faster and more cost-effective.
